Karen Tallard began exploring the practice of yoga and meditation in 1999. Wanting to deepen her understanding and share her new found love of yoga with others she completed the 200 hour Kripalu Teacher Training in 2002 and began teaching at the Harbor Wellness Center. In 2008 she completed the 200 hour Alignment Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga from the Heart in Florida where she began teaching (seasonally) in addition to Mound Street Yoga Center. Karen continues to refine her understanding of the practice, studying and taking workshops with Scott Anderson, Tias Little, Julie Gudmestadt, Manouso Manos and Baxter Bell. Her personal practice and teachings focus on finding physical and emotional balance. She is currently enrolled in Scott Anderson’s 500 hour TT Program beginning February 2011.
