It's been a great run, and we have you - our community - to thank for this lovely chapter. If the four walls of Mound Street could talk, the stories they would share! The echoes of the Vilas zoo's roaring sea lions on hot Summer nights... the frosty windows on bracing Winter mornings... conversations with friends old and new.

As this chapter draws to a close, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for making Mound Street the iconic community that it was, and best wishes on all your future endeavors.

We will continue classes in order for you to keep practicing with your friends and favorite teachers, and use your remaining passes. As of June 1st, we stopped selling new class passes. But that doesn't mean you can't keep coming! Please join us for $10 drop-in classes until we close.

Mound Street - Madison's home for intelligent fitness and practical wisdom

Welcome to Mound Street, serving Madison with mindful movement practices since 1984. Located near the University of Wisconsin campus, Madison’s original yoga studio offers the finest instruction in yoga, Pilates, meditation and more.

Mound Street offers classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. Mound Street's diverse schedule has classes for all levels, ages, and abilities of students. In addition to classes, Mound Street has been a resource for advanced training. For over a decade, teachers have returned to Mound Street for their training certification and continuing education in yoga and Pilates.
